10. X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Described as the final instalment of the X-Men prequels, Dark Phoenix focuses on Jean Grey and her abilities. The movie is rumoured to be last to feature Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

In 1992, nearly a decade after the events of X-Men: Apocalypse, the X-Men are national heroes going on increasingly risky missions. When a solar flare hits them during a rescue mission in space, Jean Grey loses control of her abilities and unleashes the Phoenix.

This time in animation form, The kookiest family return to the big screen.

The Addams family's lives begin to unravel when they face-off against a treacherous, greedy crafty reality-TV host while also preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration.

8. The Angry Birds Movie 2

It is the sequel to the animated movie no one expected, but the Angry Birds are back for another crazy adventure.

King Mudbeard, ruler of the Bad Piggies, plots revenge against the Angry Birds after they devastated his homeland in a prior battle to reclaim their eggs, leading to a comical war that seemingly does not end until a mysterious purple bird, Zeta, threatens them all with her own plans for conquest after being fed up with living in a remote, arctic island. To avoid a frozen fate, the Birds and Pigs may have to make an impossible choice to forge an uneasy alliance against Zeta and in doing so embark on a new adventure.

7. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

It is the 9th film by Quentin Tarantino, and finally the trailer has been released for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The movie stars a plethora of stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.

In 1969 Los Angeles, a television actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood weaves "multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood's golden age.

6. Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark

The maestro of gothic horror is back! Guillermo Del Toro is producing the adaptation of the iconic horror anthology series by author Alvin Schwartz.

In the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying tome.

'Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark’ is set to be released August 9, 2019.

5. Joker

Following on from the lack-lustre Suicide Squad, DC are returning with a brand new Joker, Joaquin Phoenix. The actor is replacing Jared Leto with a brand new-looking Prince of Anarchy.

In 1981, a failed stand-up comedian, disregarded by his society, turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City. Thus the Joker is born to terrorise and cause chaos.

It has also been claimed the Phoenix has filmed a cameo alongside Margot Robbie in the upcoming Birds of Prey movie.

4. Hellboy

It’s the remake we never thought we needed. Hellboy returns to theatres with David Harbour as the titular character.

Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

The anticipation for the movie has been steadily growing over time, and Harbour’s transformation into the red devil-esq is pretty impressive!

3. Aladdin

Following on from Disney’s recent tradition of making live-action versions of their classics, Aladdin is the next to join this current trend.

Starring Will Smith as the Genie, the story follows the plot of the original animation, including the iconic songs like “A Whole New World.”

After the original trailer was released, fans didn’t seem that excited. However, with the full trailer, the excitement has reached fever pitch for the next instalment of Disney’s remade classics.

'Aladdin’ is released on May 24th, 2019.

2. Toy Story 4

Many were surprised after Disney Pixar announced the fourth instalment of the popular Toy Story series. Believing that the third movie rounded off the series perfectly, there were serious questions of whether a fourth movie was needed.

However, watching the trailer, Toy Story 4 looks like it will carry on the story of Woody and Buzz will fun, adventure and that Pixar magic.

As Bonnie makes Forky, a brand-new toy made from a plastic fork, he declares himself as 'trash' and not a toy. Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy, but when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep.

'Toy Story 4’ is released on June 21, 2019.

1. Avengers: Endgame

Arguably, the biggest movie event of 2019! The end is nigh for some of our favourite Marvel superheroes as they battle Thanos one last time.

After the events of Infinity War, with half of the Earth’s population wiped out, the Avengers face their biggest test yet, trying to find a way to bring back those lost and defeat Thanos.

The movie is set to be Robert Downey Jnr and Chris Evan’s last outing as Iron Man and Captain America, and with constant speculation of whether one or both will be killed off.

'Avengers: Endgame' is released on April 26, 2019.
