There are some games which stand the test of time, some which have become iconic throughout the years - but which ones deserve to be remade for the latest consoles? From Crash Bandicoot, to King Kong, some games are beyond deserving of a modern remake.

5. Crash Bandicoot

This technically has been remade, though Crash Bandicoot makes our list as we think it's time for a new original story to the add to the successful Naughty Dog® franchise.

The wacky characters and addictive levels look fantastic on the new updated consoles and considering the trilogy remake instantly sold out, it would seem a no-brainer to release a new Crash Bandicoot adventure!

4. The Harry Potter Franchise

Anything associated with the boy Wizard, Harry Potter is guaranteed to be a success. The original games, the Philosopher's Stone first being released on PlayStation® ONE and the rest following on the PlayStation® 2, it would be great to see Hogwarts in full explorable detail.

Imagine flying a Nimbus© 2000 in HD across the school grounds? C'mon Warner Bros.® make it happen!

3. Peter Jackson's King Kong

With the release of Peter Jackson's remake of the classic movie KING KONG, Ubisoft® made a game to go with it. Featuring all the original actors voicing the avatar characters, the player became Jack Driscoll and played in 1st person. It was a monster hit, with makers creating a tense and thrilling game that was completely addictive. It would be interesting to see a remake and be able to explore Skull Island in a similar way to other 'freeroam' games like Skyrim ©

2. Jurassic Park

Following from the monster theme, Jurassic Park has throughout the years had multiple games made for the franchise. Starting with SEGA© and then ending up onto PC format, the most recent Jurassic Park, Evolution landed onto the PS4 this year.

Though, most fans would like to see would be a game following the similar 1st person gameplay seen in KING KONG. An avid game creator and Jurassic Park fan has already created some demos of the Raptor kitchen scene and the T-Rex breakout scene and they are terrifying! Lets hope Universal® see the same potential the fans do.

1. Driver

Without doubt one of the most underestimated console games in history Driver was a mixture of Italian Job and Grand Theft Auto©. It spurned many sequels, but bizarrely vanished off the face of the virtual earth.

The latest addition appeared on Nintendo® 3DS in 2011, but we have yet to see a fully fledged game on the latest consoles. Let's hope the wait isn't too long!
