Dune Trailer Debuts

The highly anticipated movie finally debuts it's first-look trailer and it looks incredible.

he first-look trailer for the highly anticipated movie Dune has finally debuted, and the movie adaptation of arguably one of the greatest science-fiction novels ever written looks like it may live up to high expectations.

With an impressive star-studded cast, including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, and Javier Bardem, director Denis Villeneuve is looking to recreate the success of his other sci-fi movies, Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival.

The trailer was released alongside a Q&A hosted by Steven Colbert and featured Villeneuve and members of the cast discussing their take on the movie.

Dune is planned to be the first of two movies based on Frank Herbert’s iconic novel with the film out this year expected to cover the first half, and the second movie to cover the remainder of the novel.

Warner Bros. has a lot riding on the success of Dune, with the film studio betting big that movie will be its next big franchise.

Dune will hit theatres on December 18th, 2020.
