5. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opens

The highly anticipated new Star Wars land opened last week to huge excitement. Fans flocked to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge experience and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Based on the planet of Batuu, guests have the opportunity to drive the Millennium Falcon in Smuggler’s Run. They also get to make their own droids, Lightsabers and experience a space canteen! Looks like fans can now visit a galaxy far, far away!

4. Disney's Pixar Onward

Disney Pixar have a reputation for creating amazing worlds through their movies, and it looks like their latest addition keeps with tradition. Their new movie “Onward” tells the story of two elf brothers who head out on an adventure to discover if magic still exists in the world?

Starring Chris Pratt, Tom Holland and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, “Onward” is released on 20 March 2020.

3. EU Election Results

They were the elections that weren’t meant to happen, but last week the Conservative and Labour parties suffered huge losses after the Brexit Party stormed to victory in the EU Elections.

The Conservatives were almost wiped out, whilst the Labour Party haemorrhaged voters to Remain backing parties including the Liberal Democrats who came in second place.

2. Kit Harington Enters Rehab

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington has voluntarily entered a ‘wellness centre’ after suffering from stress after the ending of the popular series. The show which ended last month became the most watched in HBO history, though it seems for Harington the pressure became too much.

A spokesperson for the actor said: “Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”

1. Trump Calls Meghan "Nasty"

Today Donald Trump arrives in the UK for his controversial state visit. The President will officially be welcomed by the Queen and other members of the Royal Family, though one member who will noticeably be missing is The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

Meghan who previously has criticised the President was called “nasty” after the interview was relayed to Trump in an interview with The Sun newspaper. Asking for his thoughts on Markle’s comments Trump said: “I didn't know that she was nasty”. Looks like things could get pretty awkward when he meets Prince Harry!
