HRH The Duke of Cambridge visited New Zealand last week after the horrific terror attacks in Christchurch. William, who attended on behalf of the Queen, also marked Anzac Day – the commemoration of Australians and New Zealanders who fought in the 1st World War.
The Duke met with the local community, visiting the Al Noor Mosque to pay his respects. It was here William delivered a speech praising the local community. He said: "A terrorist attempted to sow division and hatred in a place that stands for togetherness and selflessness. But New Zealanders had other plans. The people of Al Noor and Linwood mosques had other plans. In a moment of acute pain, you stood up and you stood together."

After a long hiatus, Taylor Swift has returned to the music spotlight with her new single ‘Me’. The track features Brandon Urie and Taylor proved her star power, as social media went into meltdown as the music video was released.
The video, which already has 57 million views, is colourful affair, and once again features a snake, which many fans believe to be reference to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The couple have an infamous feud with the hit-making star and once referred to Taylor as a ‘snake’.

It debuted to the world last week, and now Avengers: Endgame is well on its way to global domination at the Box Office. Analysts are already claiming the epic finale to the Marvel Universe’s phase 3 could become the most successful movie ever at the Box Office. Predictions are also stating that the film is on track to pass the $3 billion mark.
This would see Avengers: Endgame surpass its predecessor Infinity War, Titanic and, so far, the biggest movie of all time, Avatar. What a way to end the series if it does achieve this monumental goal!

Her death shocked the world, and last week Lyra McKee was laid to rest. The up-and-coming journalist was tragically killed after being shot by a member of the terrorist group, The New IRA.
Thousands across the country paid their respects, with hundreds attending Lyra’s funeral and thousands more tweeting #WeStandWithLyra. Politicians from all parties attended the funeral, including Theresa May.

In another senseless terror attack, over 300 people were killed after explosions were detonated in Sri Lanka. ISIS have claimed responsibility for the atrocity which saw suicide bombers enter Christian churches on Easter Sunday.
Hundred were killed and many more injured in the blasts, including the two daughters of ASOS Boss Anders Holch Povlsen. Ben Nicholson, a father who lost his entire family in the attack, released a statement saying: “I am deeply distressed at the loss of my wife and children.”
