The small Victorian cottage is to receive a multi-million-pound refurbishment paid for by the Tax Payer. The departure from Kensington Palace has been met with many rumours, blaming a feud between Meghan and her sister-in-law, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge. If Brexit couldn’t get any worse for Theresa May last week, the DUP really formed a major obstacle. The Northern Ireland political party, whose 11 MP’s prop up the Prime Minister’s government, have refused to vote on key Budget Bills through the House of Commons. This has led to the government winning each vote with a fine majority.
The DUP have stated that this action is in response to the highly criticised Brexit Withdrawal Deal finalised by May last week. They believe that, as Britain leaves the EU, it would leave Northern Ireland tethered to the EU and their customs placing them at a disadvantage against the rest of the UK and potentially break-up the Union.
